The Rose Theater
Summer 2021, I worked as an Intern Teaching Artist in Omaha, NE. I taught 10 different week-long camps that focused on acting, creative drama, improvisation, theatrical design, role drama, and musical theatre. Additionally, I received a taste of education administration work, first aid certification, and several professional development opportunities. See what’s currently going on at The Rose here!
Endstation Theatre Company
The summer of 2019, I worked as Master Electrician at Endstation Theatre Company in Lynchburg, VA for their summer season. I received this opportunity from the job fair at SETC (Southeastern Theatre Conference). There, the job fair offered more than 100 companies to hire through cattle call auditions and interviews for positions for summer seasons and year-long seasons.
TxETA Theatrefest 2019
In the fall, Theatre Education majors have an opportunity to attend the TxETA (Texas Educational Theatre Association) TheatreFest Conference as college students. All freshman/sophomore students are encouraged to apply for the college internship program that lead the manpower of the convention. A select number get chosen as interns that get to both attend workshops and work TxETA.
